Is There A Multiverse? The Lord Reveals
It depends on what you mean by that.
Significantly, there is only one giant universe in which there would be or there are other systems that ‘‘look’’ like our ‘’Solar’’ system.
Now, we have been told by the Bible, that there is only one Sun our God had created; only one Sun; not many.
Aside that, there were stars.
Then God said, “Let there be lights in the sky. These lights will separate the days from the nights. They will be used for signs to show when special meetings begin and to show the days and years. They will be in the sky to shine light on the earth.” And it happened.
So, God made the two large lights. He made the larger light (Sun) to rule during the day and the smaller light (Moon) to rule during the night. He also made the Stars.
Gen. 1:14-16 ERV.
Therefore, if there was only one particular Sun which was created, then there is one ‘‘Solar’’ system; meaning, ultimately, there is one Universe (monoverse.) Now, unpopular to what some of them may think, this Sun is not another ‘‘Giant’’ Star.
Why?
This is because, per what the Bible said, the Sun was ‘‘created’’ differently, and the stars too were known to be ‘‘created’’ distinctively, with each given distinct names.
Let us look at it again:
Then God said, “Let there be lights in the sky. These lights will separate the days from the nights. They will be used for signs to show when special meetings begin and to show the days and years. They will be in the sky to shine light on the earth.” And it happened.
So, God made the two large lights. He made the larger light (Sun) to rule during the day and the smaller light (Moon) to rule during the night. He also made the Stars.
Gen. 1:14-16 ERV.
So, when did they (which according to science), merge to be seen as the same or when our God had promoted our Sun to become a star, after being created distinctively? #
To be honest with you, the amount of energy the Sun exerts, it cannot be compared to the amount of energy the stars, exert.
Significantly, there are vast dissimilarities between these elements of creation, which is a reason for them to be explained differently. (This was why God (The Bible) said, He created the Sun separately, then as well, the Moon to be separate, and as well, the Stars being called separately during the day of creation!
Trust me-though they we understand that both of them give lights, they are not the same; as far God is of concern.
…God made the two large lights. He made the larger light (Sun) to rule during the day and the smaller light (Moon) to rule during the night. He also made the Stars.
Gen. 1:16 ERV.
Aside this Genesis scripture, you can see this again in the Book of Jeremiah.
Thus says the Lord,
Who gives the sun for light by day
And the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night,
Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar;
The Lord of hosts is His name:
Jeremiah 31:35 ESV.
Hence, the concept of a ‘‘multiverse,’’ will come in for scientists for finally concluding in their human minds that, our Sun too is one among those stars-meaning that, each of those stars are like the Sun, with those ‘‘objects’’ called the planets around, possibly sharing the same stars and moons within the expanse. That means, each star, including the Sun, might suggest a news solar system, in the expanse; meanwhile, that is not the case.
So, it is only when scientists conclude this phenomenon, will they be able assume so. (If the Sun was a star, why doesn’t it appear at night with them, to shine? And if the stars where like the nature of the Sun, why is that they do not ‘‘sun’’ is around?
So what? Are we intending to write our own stories for the universe?
So, there is only one Universe controlled by the Sun from God’s point of view, since there is only one ‘‘Sun (Solar)’’ He’d created from the beginning, which we saw Him both naming and creating this great object differently from the stars.
Nonetheless, there are so many ‘‘governing’’ systems, even within the earth (both small or great) which portray themselves as the Solar system, without the sun being involved.
For instance, the structure of the solar system, is like the structure of the human government; such governing structures are found in both the animal and the plant kingdoms as well. (Interestingly, a number of them are also observed in Space.) Now, with all things involved, such systems could be called One Universe which the ‘‘Sun’’ controls. However, if each one of these systems, is to be called a Universe, they will be called a multiverse regardless of the Sun’s direct involvement or engagement! This was what the Lord meant by saying, ‘‘It depends on what you mean by saying ‘‘a multiverse!’’
Aside that, and as far as God is concerned, He had created only One Sun, indicating that there is only One Solar System or one Sun’s UNIVERSE; for the Lord never termed the Sun a Star, from the beginning. We Scientists did, trying to change God’s nature of the story!
